Take control of your demand charges
Your demand charges are set by a single 15-minute peak each billing cycle. Torus Station monitors your load profile in real time and dispatches stored energy before that peak hits your meter — automatically, every cycle.

1
Torus sets a demand limit for your facility
Torus analyzes your historical load profile, then sets a ceiling on the amount of power you pull from the grid. As the system collects more data from your facility, it refines its demand forecast and adjusts the ceiling accordingly.

2
The system monitors your draw in real time
Torus measures power consumption right after the meter and continuously learns your facility’s demand patterns. When demand is below the limit, the system charges its battery storage and prepares for the next spike.

3
When demand crosses the limit, Torus discharges
The moment facility demand exceeds the limit, stored energy discharges automatically to cover the gap, so your meter never reads the spike.

4
Your demand charge reflects the cap, not the spike
The peak that would have set your demand charge for the month stays at the limit Torus set. When demand drops, the system exits peak shave mode and recharges during low-use periods, staying below the demand threshold while it replenishes.
