Get a faster path to power
When your facility needs more power than the grid delivers, your options are limited: wait 18–36 months for a utility upgrade, or delay growth. Neither works when you're on a timeline.

1
Draw from the grid when demand is low
During normal operations, Torus draws power from the grid and charges during low-use periods — nights, weekends, or any window when your facility is pulling well below the transformer’s rated capacity. The system monitors your facility’s load at the millisecond level, always aware of how much headroom remains.

2
Discharge automatically when demand spikes
When your facility’s demand approaches or exceeds the transformer’s kVA rating, Torus discharges automatically to cover the difference. For sudden load spikes, the system responds within milliseconds — fast enough to absorb motor startups and equipment cycling before the transformer is overloaded.

3
Additional loads come online
Your facility runs at the capacity your operations require — not the capacity your transformer allows. Bring new equipment, production lines, or EV chargers online without a service upgrade from your facility.

4
Recharge and repeat
When facility load drops below the transformer’s rated capacity, Torus recharges automatically from the grid. The cycle repeats without intervention, and capacity is modular, so you add storage as your facility’s power needs grow.
