How the Program Works
- Through the Wattsmart Battery Program, Rocky Mountain Power commercial customers may be eligible for incentives that offset the cost of a Torus energy storage system.
- If you qualify for the program, we'll design the system to match your building's power needs and install it at your facility.
- The system will correct power quality issues, reduce peak demand charges, and provide emergency backup, helping to prevent disruptions to your operations.
- During periods of high demand, Rocky Mountain Power uses these systems to help stabilize the grid (in 2024, assets enrolled in Wattsmart were utilized less than 1% of the year). That means 99% of the time, the system works for you.
