Flexible, dispatchable capacity across your service territory
Peak demand is growing faster than traditional infrastructure can follow. Torus deploys distributed storage assets — behind the meter or in front of it at customer sites, substations, and distribution nodes.

1
Storage assets deploy where capacity is needed
Torus installs behind the meter at commercial and industrial customer sites, or in front of it at substations and distribution nodes. Each asset integrates into existing EMS, SCADA, or aggregator platforms — visible and dispatchable from the same systems grid operators already use.

2
When dispatched, the fleet responds as a coordinated block
Each asset responds to dispatch signals within milliseconds and ramps to full power in under 30 seconds. The system either discharges directly to the grid or offsets facility load at the point of connection. At portfolio scale, the fleet performs as a single dispatchable resource visible to grid operations.

3
Behind-the-meter assets serve customer facilities
Unlike curtailment programs, dispatching Torus doesn't require a change in operations. The host facility continues running normally — and benefits from peak shaving, voltage correction, and load management between dispatch events. For large accounts, that dual value strengthens customer relationships.

4
The program delivers verified capacity — every event, every asset
Torus Lasso logs every dispatch event across the full portfolio — commands received, response times, power delivered, and asset availability — giving program teams the auditable performance record that supports expansion approval and IRP filings.
