About the role

As a Crew Lead, you are responsible for rooftop installation of solar panels and racking, managing a rooftop crew, and working with the electrician to finish the full install.  This role requires great customer and people management skills, high attention to detail, and high quality of work. We are looking for a hard working, organized, and professional crew lead who has installed solar. You are on time and on budget.

  • Install solar panels and switchgear to complete PV solar systems up to NEC and local code standards
  • Keep all safety standards for you and your crew
  • Provide great face-to-face customer service
  • Be on time to the job
  • Perform service maintenance and repairs, as needed
  • Upload photos to to update job status
  • Clean up of job site and vehicle

Experience you'll need

  • Must have at least 1-2 years of rooftop solar installation experience
  • Must be able to read, interpret and execute blueprints, specs and diagrams
  • Top-notch organizational skills as well as a close attention to details required
  • Experience in web and mobile software applications
  • Must be able to use ladders at varying heights, specialized equipment (scissor lifts/man lifts etc.), and lift heavy items (up to 60 lbs)
  • May be required to work in inclement weather at varying times and places
  • Must be comfortable working at great heights
