About the Role

As a Warehouse Technician II, you will support warehouse operations including inventory control, materials handling, shipping/receiving, and coordination with production teams. Your role ensures that parts, components, and finished goods are stored, tracked, and delivered to manufacturing and field projects safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Material Handling & Logistics: Receive deliveries, verify shipments against packing lists, inspect for damage, and process inventory receipts. Pick, pack, and stage materials for production builds and outbound shipments. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Track inventory using ERP or warehouse management systems (training provided). Maintain accurate records of material movements, part counts, and stock levels. Perform regular cycle counts and support inventory audits.
  • Warehouse Organization: Maintain clean, clearly labeled, and well-organized storage areas. Optimize inventory layout for efficiency and safety flow. Assist in designing and building shelving, storage racks, and bin systems as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain warehouse tools, lifting equipment, and packaging stations. Report any malfunctioning equipment that may impact safety or operations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all OSHA, company, and industry safety standards. Use PPE appropriately and enforce safe material handling practices. Participate in safety training and help improve warehouse safety policies.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Communicate proactively with manufacturing, procurement, and engineering to support material needs. Track and report any inventory discrepancies, supply delays, or damaged parts. Provide feedback to improve workflows and material tracking efficiency.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate shipping documentation, receiving logs, and inventory adjustments. Use digital tools to document issues, corrective actions, and improvement ideas.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Experience

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent and 2+ years of warehouse, material handling, or inventory control experience.
  • Familiarity with warehouse tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, and basic computer applications.
  • Experience working from pick lists, packing slips, or shipping/receiving documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and record accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and support fast-moving operations.

Preferred Experience

  • Active OSHA-compliant Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience with ERP/WMS inventory systems (NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl, etc.).
  • Knowledge of shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, LTL) and freight documentation.
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or energy sector environments.

Background Check All candidates are subject to a background check.
Location + Travel The role is based in our South Salt Lake Headquarters Warehouse (air-conditioned). May require occasional onsite work in Springville R&D warehouse (air-conditioned and non air-conditioned).
Schedule Full-Time, Hourly
Compensation $21 - 25 DOE (Note: We have the flexibility to hire at different levels, which may impact the corresponding pay range.)
Work Authorization Applicants must already have the legal authorization to work in the US without requiring any employer sponsorship.
Physical Requirements 
  • Must have the ability to safely lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. 
  • Must be capable of standing, bending, and executing repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to read, identify, observe and recognize details, color-coding and fine print at close range on associated engineering drawings.
  • Ability to don personal protective equipment to include, but not limited to, respiratory protective equipment with proper seal, coveralls, ear protection, gloves, eye protection & safety helmet. 
  • Ability to observe, detect and respond to audible and visual machine malfunction warnings.
  • Ability to communicate information so others can understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Must report to work reliably and with the ability to use full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute your job.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English required.
